My son, along with 2 friends, attended travel camp for the first time. They left each day excited and were picked up each evening smiling, laughing and eager to share/discuss their day! It was a great first time experience and I’m certain they will want to return next summer! Thank you for an exhausting, exciting and fun-filled week!! 

I loved the inclusive nature of this camp. My child didn’t have a buddy he knew going into it, but quickly was grouped with others and genuinely had a great week. Seeing him come off the bus everyday with a smile, and hearing him tell stories of having fun with other kids, was worth every penny. The cross section of activities exposed him to things he wouldn’t ordinarily opt for, so it was also an amazing way to broaden his scope what could be fun. Thank you to the whole team for creating such a fantastic week of summer memories for these kids! 

Incredible experience for my child. Not only are the kids having a blast but they are being taught to respect rules, structure and those around them. Not for children who don’t like rules and structure. 

My child loved travel camp! We had been wanting to give him more independence to stretch and start to give him life experiences on his own, without quite doing the sleepaway camp thing yet - this was absolutely perfect for him. You were so communicative and organized, and it sounds like he really liked all of the counselors. Each day was fun and unique, as well as thoroughly exhausting which is always appreciated by parents in the summertime! It's a really special experience you're giving these kids - we'll definitely be doing it again! 

Travel Camp is one of the best things about living in Redding. I wish we could have our kids participate in it more. Mr. B and his team are top notch. The weeks are filled with fun, and memories are made on every journey.

Travel camp provided such a fun mix of activities to some great places that we could never get to as a family. When you consider all the places they go the value is really good. My daughter met a lot new people and made new friends. She loved the experience and can’t wait until next summer! 

The Director and Camp Counselors at Travel Camp are very passionate at what they do. You can tell that they want the kids to have a good time and the kids safety is priority number one. These experiences for the kids are priceless. They are gaining some independence while having great experiences with their friends. 

I think the camp did a wonderful job punting changes based on weather. It's rarely going to be perfect in every aspect but I felt informed and that there was forethought for these situations. 

Travel camp lives up to its previous reputation. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed each trip. She comes home tired and happy every day!!! I have felt that her counselors have put the campers’ safety at the forefront of their concerns. 

My child ran from the car with enthusiasm each day and looked forward to the trip and time with new and old friends. The staff were very attentive and really took the time to get to know my child. Can’t wait for next year! 

My daughter had a blast at travel camp. The sense of independence, the community feel of the group and the excitement at every day being something new was her highlight of the summer. Now, I know to sign up for more weeks next year. 

I never worried once about my daughter being in NYC without me. Mr B and the counselors did a great job informing the kids about their responsibilities as a group, and they all responded wonderfully. 

We cannot recommend this camp highly enough. Jamie and his team were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty. The travel camp made Ben's summer and we are genuinely grateful to Jamie & his team for their creative planning and touching personalized care and attention. My daughter had an unforgettable summer filled with an incredible variety of trips from outdoor adventures to exciting city outings. Each day brought something new, fun, and enriching. The camp was so well organized and thoughtfully run, I had total peace of mind while my child came home smiling and full of stories.

Even as an out of towner, my daughter quickly made a friend and felt at home in travel camp. She enjoyed each trip and had a blast seeing new places.

The ability to do so many different activities in one day, is so amazing and an experience they will remember for a long time. The staff, daily communications, and the level of detail in coordinating everything is top notch. I was worried how they would do, and nervous to send them that I actually waited a year, but after this week I see that the program is operated very well, and my kids couldn’t say enough great things about the staff and how much they enjoyed travel camp!effectively with families to ensure the campers still had fun and engaging experiences. 

In the car on the way home Friday night after camp, my daughter and her one year older friend were trying to figure out how many more years of camp they could have together with the new CIT program and becoming a counselor. They want to do travel camp every summer forever. You guys are seriously amazing. Everyone I tell about this camp is so impressed with the organization and reach of these adventures. And we love the stickers on the water bottles idea! So smart!!! Thank you for giving our kiddos the best week of the summer!

Travel camp is a terrific idea as it allows campers a different experience every day.  It also provides the campers an opportunity to see each other in a different light every day, interacting with their experiences in a variety of ways.

Bravo. With a large group you kept it very structured yet fun. My son throughly enjoyed every single day and had a very hard time choosing which activity was enjoyed the least or the most. Registration is very easy, but fills up instantly because it’s just that popular! 

Our experience with Travel Camp was amazing! The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about making each camper’s experience unforgettable. The activities were well-organized, fun, and adventurous!

Travel camp is an iconic part of my child's summer. Every year, I am so impressed by the professionalism and care this team has for the kids - the thrilling adventures they go on and the friendships that are made - or made stronger. It's truly the gem of Redding Parks programming.

This has been my daughter’s favorite week of the summer for four years in a row!

A hearty recommendation for the Rec Travel Camp directed by “Mr. B” and supported by a kind, enthusiastic team of counselors.  What an amazing experience these kids enjoyed! Whether a Broadway show or a Yankees game or a museum…. There seemed to be something for everyone.  I can’t imagine the energy, patience and planning that goes into these Travel Camp weeks but what fun memories the campers will take with them. 

My boys have had an absolutely spectacular summer at travel camp two summers in a row now. Mr. B., the staff, the friends, and the activities are all fantastically enjoyable. It’s extremely well-run and I felt my kids were safe at all times. 

My son came home exhausted and so happy every day! He can't wait to do it again next summer!

This is my kids' more awaited camp! Mr. B and his team are so welcoming and fun and the trips are a hit! The bus rides may be long but the kids have a blast together and watching movies.

Mr B is a one of a kind wonder. His exceptional organization, communication, enthusiasm, and dedication made Travel Camp the highlight of my daughter’s Summer. He and his staff provided adventure while supporting independence and fun!

I really liked Six Flags and Lake Compounce and the Harry Potter experience. It was exciting to go to NYC and do things that were new to me! 

it was an amazing experience and i loved it i went 3 and 4 week and it was really fun i will defintly consider going next year 

I loved almost every minute of travel camp and hanging out with my friends! 

I thought Travel camp was awesome. The counselors were very supportive and fun. The places we went to where also awesome and catered to everyone's interests. 

My favorites were a tie between the Beast and Broadway show and Brownstone. But they were all really fun 

It was SO fun to go to different places and have a blast with my friends! I can’t wait to go back to Brownstone next year! 

I loved Travel Camp so much i will definitely be going back all of the years that i can and hope to become a Travel Camp Counselor someday! 

I love that I get to do ‘new’ things that I thought I would never have done! Upside down rollercoasters, kayaking, swim in a lake to name only a few! I love everything about travel camp!!! 

It was an amazing experience that I’ll never forget, getting to know new people and building new friendships while still having old ones. Best part? you got to hang out with both new and old friends. 

Travel camp was a lot of fun! We went to many exciting places such as NYC and a waterpark. I really enjoyed my time there and hope I can return next year!

Camp was perfectly fun and amazing for me and my friends, especially the coach buses! Mr. B and the counselors were very nice and I difinitely want to come back again.

I loved being at camp because of the many places we went and experiences I had with friends and Mr. B.

It was a lot of fun, and I had a great time there. Everyone made the bus rides more fun, and the places we went to were amazing, such as the movies/plays, the waterparks, the amusement parks, and the theme parks. they were amazing all of them and i hope next year it will be even better
