We're opening a limited number of Counselor in Training positions for teenagers entering grades 11 and 12. They will still participate in all activities and events with their peers in addition to learning occupational, social, and life skills along the way and before the season begins.
This new program is a great opportunity to allow camp alumni to return to camp and learn about what makes us successful, and what skills and qualities are needed to work with others in a busy, high energy, and sometimes stressful environment.
Interested teenagers must fill out the Google Form below in order to be sent the application for the 2026 program.
Due to laws and policies for the places we visit - CITs are still considered campers, and must be registered as full-tuition campers by their parent/guardians if they are accepted into the CIT program.
Many of our families were looking for a way to keep their 11th and 12th graders engaged during the summer while the teens themselves wished they could enjoy a few more summer adventures.
This idea became a 2025 pilot program to celebrate our high school role models and forge a path for possible future counselors. Our CIT program allows for local teens to enjoy safe, exciting summer trips while also being recognized as a mentor.
Our staff counselors must be at least 18 or older for our trips (and 21 or older for some of our locations) - so this allows us to help bridge that gap between camper to counselor. Our 2025 CITs led by example and enjoyed having fun with more independence.
Entering grades 11 or 12 in fall 2026.
